Given the nature of this blog, it was hard to pick *a* favourite screenshot of the lot.
However it was THIS postcard, the second I produced, that led to the blog's creation.
Oh, excellent choice. That's a gorgeous shot.
ReplyDeleteThanks! It was hard to sum up in two lines just how important this shot was to the idea and creation of the blog.
ReplyDeleteThe very first shot I produced - one of the ruins of Lordaeron - was just a filler article on an IC realm-based blog called The Sha'tar Herald which I was an editor of. I tried to make little thumbnail images to break up walls of text, then thought having these larger images every week made the blog a more attractive read.
t was this shot though that made me realise that the Postcards - as they became - actually looked great as a standalone item... and then PostcardsFromAzeroth was born.
And nearly two years later, here we still are!
